“Wendy - I finished your book on Saturday evening - absolutely fantastic!!! Has really helped me at the moment, came at a good time”

- Georgina Norton, London

“Just to congratulate you on the book. I enjoyed it very much. Particularly liked her Louisa, Tom and Dan stories. Very subtly told to make her point.
As a coach I found the chapter on, ‘Environment’ in your book very useful, especially working with one client in particular. In fact it made me re evaluate my own environment and make some changes as well. Why don’t more books cover this topic? I also like the quote at the top of Chapter 7 from Tom Watson of IBM. One of those quotes that although you’ve heard the sentiments before somehow puts it across in a way you understand and remember. So thanks for that”

“Over a decade of my career was spent in training and consulting, so the methodologies Wendy includes in her roadmap to self realisation and (more importantly) taking action or “living your life on purpose”, are not new to me. What is, and refreshingly so, is the context into which she brings the diversity of personal and business psychology that you’d ordinarily have to read over 20 books in order to acquire and benefit from (if you can get past those buzzwords!).Like our heroes on the train and in the pub, once hooked, I could not put the book down and it was devoured in one sitting! Unlike the heroes in Wendy’s book, I realised that I actually made the right decision 4 years ago to start my own business after redundancy - doing something that is as far away from my previous corporate life as it is possible to get; for that reason alone this book is worth every penny! Her words remain in my thoughts and, as importantly, form part of my decision-making processes now, even after the last page has been digested, and are providing me (as a lone entrepreneur) with a virtual mentor in the absence of suitable physical one at the present time.

To paraphrase that excellent quote at the start of ‘Principle 7 - Vision’, “I am no longer doing business, I am building one”

- Peter Wognum - Director, Biz4Green

In the busy world we live in where the ‘to do’ list is always way too ambitious this book really gives you a moment to take stock and really think. It asks questions that you may squirm at answering but it does genuinely give you a fresh insight into what makes you tick.

For someone who rarely reads books like this it was like a stroll by the sea on a beautiful day - deeply satisfying, inspiring and invigorating.

At last some jargon-free valuable advice, 10 Jun 2009
-   M. King “Ludmila” (St Petersburg, Russia)

This book is excellent value for money. It is written in clear, understandable jargon-free English (not American), and employs helpful case examples to help one identify with the emotion being addressed. This book truly is a bible to personal and professional fulfilment. The author has also included hands-on exercises to assist the reader achieve his/her goals, and covers just about every aspect of the trials and tribulations that we humans encounter in every day life (e.g. love, values, aspirations, capabilities, attitude, and beliefs to name but a few). The author draws on proven NLP and EFT techniques in a non-technical and readable fashion, and interlaces these with humour thus rendering this little gem an easy and enjoyable read. For the price you will not find such good value for money, nor will you find such good advice. After you have finished reading the book you will find yourself picking it up again and again. Thoroughly recommended.

This is an easy to read and interactive book. the book can be used as a complete strategy for changing your life/career goals or alternatively, you could dip into any chapter for the easy to follow advice and exercises that, could just turn out to be the world changing wisdom you need to enable you to move forward with whatever challenge you are currently facing. Whilst reading this book you will also become aware that wendy has completely turned around her own life by using the solid and practical advice she offers the reader, i can’t think of a better advert to persuade you to buy this book.

   - Jacqueline A. Anderson (Maldon, essex.)

Brilliant, this book is great for anyone going through a big change like redundancy or even if you just want to re-evaluate your situation. Wendy’s writing is completely unique and her referrals to the characters in the Wizard of Oz communicates the point in a down to earth way with a touch of humour. Highly reccomended.

An ‘interactive workshop’ on paper, 8 Jun 2009
-  Dr. M. J. Braithwaite “Resonato - Reputation … (Essex UK)

A refreshingly non-academic work on the difficult subject of advising on ‘personal development’, this book hits many of the issues we all face throughout our lives and gives clear, simple messages in dealing with our innermost highs, lows, aspirations, fears, conflicts, aggression, uncertainties, ambitions, barriers, etc., etc., etc.. It is a surprisingly comprehensive distillation of every matter we might face on our life’s journey through personal relationships, education, work and retirement. It’s an ‘interactive workshop’ between the covers of an inexpensive paperback book.

The author’s style is chatty and laced with humour, but deals with the difficult issues positively and sympathetically. The straightforward language used contrasts markedly with some of the quotations from the academic literature on the subject. This style makes the book a very easy and pleasurable read, and enables the reader to take in the points at the first visit. There is a noticeable lack of ‘white space’ in the pages of the book, which means the reader is drawn into the subsequent sections without the interruption of chapter endings. It only takes a couple of hours to read, but I know I will be re-visiting significant sections and using the exercises to make changes in my own future interactions. Be brave walk the yellow brick road, 22 May 2009
-  Lynette Allen “PinkSkills.co.uk” (London)

The Yellow brick road is a story we are all familiar with and the fact that Dorothy had a difficult journey down it, but never gave up and got there in the end, gives empathy to this book. It’s easy to read and relate to. You hear yourself saying “Yes that’s me! Yes I do that!”. It read well and enjoyed it, Wendy’s skill in writing means you can almost touch the feeling of ‘I can achieve!’. Go on read it and you’ll find yourself saying “OK world…I’m ready…bring it on!”

This is a must have book for anyone wanting to change negative areas of their lives
The author’s style is straightforward and this makes the book easy to read. But the book is not an easy read because it leaves the reader with lots to think about and activities to do. I found myself spending time just thinking … for which I never usually have much time. I couldn’t stop reading and am now going to read it again and do all the activities. If you are considering some changes, don’t know where you are going or just want to read one of the best personal development books on the market -buy this now.
